A man has been arrested after speeding in front of a sheriff's deputy and driving with a suspended license in Stockton, said the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office.

A deputy caught the suspect Raymond Sanchez, 40, driving at a very high speed in the area of Harding Way and West Lane. The deputy was on the right side of the lane while Sanchez passed him.

When the traffic stop occurred, Sanchez failed to let the deputies know he was on probation and during further investigation they discovered his drivers license was suspended and registration had been expired. He also had a no bail warrant for his arrest.

Sanchez is being booked in the county jail.
