It doesn't get much cuter than this.
On April 7, Audubon Canyon Ranch's research team announced the discovery of three 10-day old mountain lion kittens, who belong to a female mountain lion (P1) in their Sonoma County research study.
Following the discovery in the Glen Ellen and Kenwood area, the research team posted photos and a video of the baby lions to their website. The organization noted the kittens were not physically touched during the process.
"This marks the first offspring born to a subject of the study and was especially exciting for lead researcher Dr. Quinton Martins and team, who have tracked P1 for the past six months," Wendy Coy with ACR wrote in a blog post.
