Deputies have arrested a man and his girlfriend after a 6-year-old boy was found dead Monday morning.
According to the Sacramento Sheriff's Department, Metro Fire found the boy in a home in the 7300 block of Power Inn Road just before 7 a.m.
A preliminary investigation led detectives to the child's brother, 22-year-old Miguel Uribe, and his girlfriend, 26-year-old Angelica Garcia, who also lived in the home.
The couple was arrested and now face charges of child neglect and child abuse resulting in a child's death. They are being held in the Sacramento County Main Jail.
The cause of death has not been released.
