Fire victims in Butte, Lake, Mendocino, Napa, Nevada, Orange, Sonoma and Yuba counties can now apply for individual assistance.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) says those affected can register at disasterassistance.gov
Individual assistance can cover everything from items not covered by homeowner's insurance to funeral expenses.
The federal Small Business Administration also announced Friday that low-interest disaster loans are available for Sonoma County residents.
Damaged businesses can borrow up to $2 million.
“SBA is strongly committed to providing California with the most effective and customer-focused response possible and with access to federal disaster loans to help California businesses and residents affected by this disaster,” Small Business Administration Administrator Linda McMahon said in a statement.
