A Napa man is under arrest, charged with the alleged kidnapping and sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl.

Just before 6 a.m. Sunday, Sonoma County sheriff’s deputies were called to Bodega Bay after a man called stating his 13-year-old companion jumped out of his moving car and then ran off.

Deputies responded to the call and met with the man, later identified as 50-year-old Timothy Marble, and began speaking with him, when the 13-year-old came up to them, stumbling out of the bushes, according to a sheriff’s office statement.

The girl was reportedly covered in road rash and stated Marble had raped her, according to deputies.

Marble was detained and an ambulance came and transported the girl to a nearby hospital where she was reunited with her mother, deputies said.

The girl later told investigators she got into an argument with her mother and ran away from her Napa home on March 30. Early the next morning, around 3 a.m., the girl was at a Shell gas station where she mat Marble, who later convinced the girl to get into his pickup truck.

Investigators report Marble then allegedly gave the girl a ride to an unknown location where he and the minor smoked marijuana together. Marble then allegedly made sexual advances toward the girl, which she told investigators she rejected.

The victim told investigators Marble then tied her to a tree and sexually assaulted her.

Marble then drove the victim around some more, allegedly convincing her to use methamphetamine and used a syringe to inject her with the drug, according to investigators.

The two continued traveling, according to investigators. At some point, Marble allegedly used a razor blade and a knife to cut the victim’s leg. He allegedly also scratched his name into the girl’s skin using the knife. Investigators say the man’s name was still visible for detectives.

During the course of the ordeal, the victim told investigators Marble allegedly sexually assaulted the girl two more times inside the truck.

While the two drove toward Bodega Bay Sunday morning, the victim jumped from the moving truck and into bushes, where she would later be found after Marble called 911, according to deputies.

Investigators later arrested Marble on several charges, including sexual acts with a minor, kidnapping and child abuse.

He was booked into the Sonoma County Jail where he is being held without bail.
