Sutter Health faces an $18,000 penalty from the state's Fair Political Practices Commission over lobbyist reports.
According to the FPPC, Sutter "failed to timely file" nine lobbyist employer reports, which disclosed payments made for lobbying the state Legislature.
"The appropriate reports were filed as soon as we were made aware of the gaps between filings," Sutter Health spokeswoman Liz Madison told ABC10. "We accept full responsibility and are in the process of paying the fines."
The proposed penalty is expected to be heard at the FPPC's commission meeting Dec. 21 on Q Street in Sacramento.
