More than 1,000 attended a Town Hall discussion hosted by U.S. Representative Doug LaMalfa (R) in Grass Valley at the Nevada County Fairgrounds Saturday.
Attendees packed inside the Main Street Center building, many holding anti-Trump and other political signs.
The congressman hosted the meeting to update his constituents on how the 115th Congress plans to work with the new presidential administration.
LaMalfa answered questions and heard comments from his constituents that came from places like Redding, Chico, and Grass Valley to attend.
The congressman heard comments and took questions on healthcare, military spending, coal mining, education budget, funding for the Environmental Protection Agency, and others.
