The Davis Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying a suspect they say used stolen credit cards to buy items from stores like Target and Nordstrom Rack.

Both credit cards were stolen from teachers at two different elementary schools.

The first credit card was taken when a teacher left her purse in an empty classroom at Fred T. Korematsu Elementary School on January 31. When the teacher came back to the room her wallet was gone. That card was used to buy things from a Target in Davis and a Safeway in Vacaville.

The second card was stolen from a teacher at Montgomery Elementary School. That card was used to buy things from Michael's and Nordstrom Rack in Vacaville.

Both thefts happened between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. when the classrooms were empty and the children were not present.

Police believe the suspect has no affiliation with the school district and may also be responsible for similar incidents.

If you have any information about this suspect may be, contact the Davis Police Department at (530) 747-5400.
