A brazen gas station robbery in Elk Grove has prompted police to ask for the public’s help identifying the suspects, who are still on the loose.

The robbery started at a Shell Gas Station on Auto Center Drive on Nov. 19 around 3:30 a.m. when three suspects threw a large rock through the business’s front door, Elk Grove police said.

Once inside, the suspects ransacked the front counter, stealing lottery tickets and cash registers, according to police.

The entire robbery was caught on surveillance video.

Two of the suspects are described as white men between the age of 18 to 20, standing as tall as 6 feet and weighing around 170 pounds.

The third suspect is described as a Latino man between the age of 18 to 20 standing about 6 feet tall. He was last seen wearing a red and black San Francisco 49ers jacket, a grey hoodie, blue jeans and black and red basketball shoes.

The suspects were seen escaping the area in what is believed to be a newer dark grey or silver Jeep Grand Cherokee with dark colored wheels.

Investigators are asking any with information related to the burglaries to call the Elk Grove Police Department at 916-478-8060.
