This weekend kicks off "National Park Week" — America’s largest celebration of national heritage and everything outdoors!
National Park Week runs from April 15—23, and it’s a way outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy our nation's parks for free.
The National Park Service is waiving admission fees to all of its parks this weekend and next. Places like Yosemite will be free of charge, so instead of paying the $30 vehicle fee to get in, you can use that money for gas.
The waiver covers entrance fees, commercial tour fees and transportation entrance fees. You still need to pay for things like camping, concessions and reservations.
So get out and have some free fun either this weekend or next.
