Today marks 22 years since 168 people, including 19 children, lost their lives in the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City.

Less than three hours after the bomb went off, first responders and journalists from right here in Sacramento were on their way to lend a hand and tell the story.

ABC10’s Dale Schornack and former reporter Dave Marquis were there to cover it live. They reflect on those dark days more than two decades later.

Dave told us it's easily the worst tragedy he ever had to cover.
