A deadly shooting has claimed the life of one and injured another in Lincoln Saturday night.

One victim, a man in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting, Lincoln police said, the other was transported to a nearby hospital.

Investigators have not identified a suspect, but witnesses did provide police with a description of two men they believe might be connected with the shooting.

The first suspect is described as a white man standing at least 6-feet-tall, with a stocky build, wearing a tan sweatshirt, a tan mas and blue jeans.

The second suspect is also believed to be a white man standing 5 feet, 10 inches, weighing as much as 200 pounds, wearing a black sweatshirt and a black and white skull mask.

The shooting happened just after 10:30 p.m. along E. 8th Street, police said.

Police added there was reason to believe at least one of the victims may have been targeted for a specific reason.
