A man who was fatally shot at an auto body shop in south Sacramento Tuesday was identified by the coroner and his alleged murderer was arrested, county officials said.
Cansio Santiago Ramirez, 47, was arrested at his home for the shooting death of 37-year-old Arnulfo Soto, sheriffs officials said. Santiago Ramirez was arrested for murder and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail.
According to the Sacramento County Sheriff's office, Soto and an unidentified man argued over a purchased car. The two got into a fight outside of an auto body shop Soto worked at on 52nd Avenue. At some point during the fight, officials said Ramirez pulled out a gun and shot Soto in the upper body.
Soto was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ramirez is ineligible for bail and will be arraigned on August 18 at the Sacramento Superior Court.
