The Sacramento Police Department is investigating their third homicide this weekend after a fatal shooting outside a Sacramento nightclub.

The Sacramento Bee reports officers responded to a call of a shooting and found the victims outside of La Nueva Tropicana nightclub early Sunday. The Sacramento County Coroner identified the man who died as 28-year-old Cesar Aleman Luna, of Sacramento. Sacramento Police spokesman Officer Matt McPhail says the other three men are receiving medical treatment at a hospital. He says no one has been detained in the case.

The Sunday shooting was the third fatal shooting this weekend in Sacramento. McPhail says the shootings are not connected.

On Saturday morning around 1:30 a.m., outside the bar Flames in Midtown, two people were shot. As of Sunday afternoon, only one person has died.

The second homicide investigation came later that day in south Sacramento, where three people were shot inside a residence. Two of them died while the third was last listed as being in critical condition.
