The lockdown at Cosumnes Oak High School has been lifted and no weapon was found following reports of a student possibly bringing a gun to the school, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department.

At about 12:35 pm, Cosumnes Oak High School received an anonymous tip from a student that there were reports of another student bringing a gun to school. The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene and the school went on lockdown at about 12:45 p.m, according to officials.

The lockdown was lifted at 2:40 p.m. and no weapon was found by authorities.
