The Sacramento Police Department says they've made an arrest in a fatal hit-and-run incident that occurred on March 15.
At approximately 9:25 p.m., the Sacramento Police Department responded to Marysville Boulevard and Los Robles Boulevard on a report of a collision involving a vehicle and a bicyclist.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an unresponsive male bicyclist near the roadway with injuries consistent with being hit by a car. The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle involved, driven by 47-year old Wilfredo Cortes of Sacramento, failed to stop and fled the scene, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
Cortes was arrested Saturday, police say.
