The prisoner who walked away from the a minimum security facility at Folsom State Prison last week was captured Tuesday in Rancho Cordova, Sacramento County Sheriff's officials said.

A citizen recognized Todd Willis, 56, walking near Coloma Road and Rossmoor Drive around 9:15 Halloween morning, and immediately called police officials. When sheriff's deputies arrived to the area, Willis began to run away.

According to officials, Willis and deputies got into a "violent struggle" before Willis was subdued and arrested.

Willis was transported to the hospital with minor injuries and later transferred back to California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation's custody.

No officers were injured in the scuffle.
