An early morning 3-alarm fire destroyed a a vacant building early Thursday morning in Rancho Cordova's Lincoln Village area.
The fire broke out at an office building on Lincoln Village Drive near Bradshaw Road. The three-alarm fire brought crews from both the Sacramento and Metro fire departments, and was put out around 4:30 a.m.

Images put out by the Metro Fire Department showed at least half of the building was engulfed in flames.

According to fire officials, the main building was destroyed and two smaller connecting buildings were damaged. No one was inside of the building at the time.
