A probation search at a Roseville home Sunday morning led to the discovery of drugs, parts from a stolen vehicle and a handgun.
Cars and trucks were found parked on and around the Union Street home, police said, including one in the backyard which had been cut apart. Police were able to use a vehicle identification number to trace a sawed-up part to a pickup truck that had been stolen from Rancho Cordova in 2015. Police said several parts from the pickup were found installed in other vehicles at the home.
The search also produced a handgun and methamphetamine, police said in a Facebook post.
Curtis Johnson, 44, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a stolen car, possessing methamphetamine and possession of drugs while armed.
Dederic Render, 47, was also arrested on suspicion of giving a false name and for being a parolee at large from Florida.
Both men are from Roseville.
