2 RVs, 2 cars damaged in fire at North Sacramento auto repair yard

It is unclear what caused the fire, but fire crews said they were able to get it contained before any surrounding businesses were damaged.

SACRAMENTO, Calif — Firefighters have gotten a handle on a fire at an auto repair yard in the North Sacramento area, Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Sacramento Fire Department, two RVs and two vehicles caught fire at the auto repair yard located in the 1500 block of El Camino Avenue, between Auburn Boulevard and the Capital City Freeway.

It is unclear what caused the fire, but fire crews said they were able to get it contained before any surrounding businesses were damaged. A storage container near the fire did suffer some damage, the fire department reported.

No one was injured. An investigator is working to determine the cause.
