A woman who was helping the driver of a stalled car was seriously injured after she was hit by another car Thursday.
The crash happened just after 6 p.m. near Andrea Blvd. and Roseville Road.
The Good Samaritan was driving with her two children when she noticed a stalled vehicle and pulled over to help the driver.
While helping, another car hit her from behind.
The woman was taken to a local area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
According to police, the car did have its hazards on but they were dim.
The driver is cooperating with police and they say drugs and alcohol were not a factor in this crash.
The cause is under investigation.
