Several stores at Weberstown Mall were forced to close for the night after a crowd of about 100 kids wreaked havoc Tuesday night.

The kids were disrupting shoppers and later began fighting in the parking lot around 6:45 p.m.

The mall did not completely shut down, but several stores did close their doors.

The Stockton Unified School District assisted the 15 police units that arrived at the mall to deal with the kids.

Two juveniles has been arrested for trespassing and no injuries have been reported.

ABC10 reached out to the mall and received the following statement from Melissa Green-Gomes, general manager of Weberstown Mall:

“The safety of our shoppers, retailers and employees is our top priority. We are working closely with the Stockton Police Department as they investigate this incident. For more information, please contact the Stockton Police Department directly at (209) 937-8377.”
