On the third night of protesting after Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential race, Trump responded.
He tweeted Thursday that after a ‘successful presidential election’ it was ‘very unfair!’ that people had taken to the streets to protest his election.
Just had a very open and successful presidential election. Now professional protesters, incited by the media, are protesting. Very unfair!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 11, 2016
Many people in the social media world have noticed he had a different message after the 2012 presidential election.
On November 6, 2012, he tweeted ‘we should march on Washington’ after Mitt Romney lost to President Barack Obama.
We can't let this happen. We should march on Washington and stop this travesty. Our nation is totally divided!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 7, 2012
In cities across the country from New York, Austin and to San Francisco thousands of people have protested Trump's coming presidency since Election Night Tuesday.
