Two juveniles were cited on Thursday for allegedly vandalizing a special needs school in Citrus Heights.
The Sacramento Sheriff's Department said two males, an 11 and 13-year-old were cited for allegedly vandalizing the Laurel Ruff School on Feb. 22. They were released to their parents.
While students and staff took a week-long break from the school, the two alleged vandals struck, wreaking havoc upon the school for those with special needs.
Sacramento County sheriff’s detectives investigating the vandalism said the damage was extensive.
