Police in Vacaville are searching for a male suspect after authorities say he tried to rob a Goodwill worker on Tuesday.
The incident happened at approximately 1 p.m. when a cream-colored Chrysler 300 with tinted windows pulled up to a Goodwill employee in the parking lot. Police say the man pointed a gun at the female worker and threatened to shoot her if she didn’t turn over her bag.
The suspect, who fled the scene without the bag, is described as a Hispanic man between 23 and 27 years old with a medium build and mustache. He was wearing a black beanie and black sweatshirt at the time of the incident.
The suspect was last seen traveling at a high rate of speed eastbound on East Monte Vista Avenue towards Allison Drive.
