The West Sacramento man who allegedly killed his three children has pleaded guilty to triple homicide charges.
According to court documents, Robert Hodges pled guilty to all of the crimes in the complaint, including murdering his three children with special circumstances and attempting to murder his wife.
On Wednesday, Sept. 13, Hodges killed his three children, one a baby, inside a West Sacramento apartment following an altercation with his wife.
Hodges is scheduled to be sentenced without the possibility of parole.
He will be sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
"Ultimately, the surviving family's desire for a swift and certain conclusion to this heartbreaking case led us to the conclusion that this resolution was most appropriate," a press release from the Yolo County District Attorney said. "The defendant will die in prison."
