It's a little early for St. Patrick's Day, but that didn't stop someone from dying Placerville's Hangtown Creek.
The Placerville Police Department tweeted the dye is non-toxic, not harmful and will dissipate. Police said the city's public works department is also aware

In a comment to the department's Facebook post, Suzanne J. Heffner says the same thing happened to Hangtown Creek last year too.
