Do you enjoy avocados but hate the pit?

Or do you wish you could just eat the whole avocado?

If you answered yes to either or both of those questions, then you're in luck.

For the month of December, British retailer Marks & Spencer [M&S], are selling the ‘cocktail avocado, a "small, elongated avocado" that's roughly eight centimeters long. The fruit is created from an unpollinated avocado blossom.

The avocado develops without a seed, "which in turns stops the growth, giving a small, seedless fruit." Unlike a normal avocado, the skin is edible.

Charlotte Curtis, a food technology specialist at M&S, said this version of the avocado is "perfect for snacking and lunchboxes as they can be eaten whole, but can also be used for a beautiful garnish or in a salad."

The fruit is only available in the U.K.
