March is nearly half over already. While it may not feel like it here in Blizzard City, I mean New England, winter is finally nearing its end and spring is coming (I hope). That means Easter, Tax Day, and warmer weather are all fast approaching. And, unsurprisingly, there are plenty of deals to get you in the springtime spirit on Amazon right now.
1. The best at-home blow-out that won't break the bank
The hair dryer you use can make a massive difference in how your hair turns out, so we tested all the top options to find the best hair dryers. This Revlon dryer is out favorite affordable model, offering a blowout virtually indistinguishable from the results you'd get from a $200 dryer. It originally cost $27, but has been selling for around $18-$20 for the last few months. Today, however, it's down to just $15 (including the concentrator and diffuser attachments). So why not replace the hair dryer that gives you mediocre results?
2. A big candy sale to prepare you for Easter (or just feed your sweet tooth)
With Easter just a few weeks away, Amazon's running a Deal of the Day for people who like to plan ahead. Today you can get a slew of springtimes favorites for 20% off more more. From bulk Hershey's Kisses, M&Ms and Brach's Jelly Beans to Lindt, Dove, and Ghiradelli bunnies, you can get a head start on your kids' Easter baskets.
3. Anker charging accessories for up to 30% off
Anker is almost always running a deal on at least a few of their products, which is great because their stuff is really quite awesome. Today, you can find charging cables, multi-port car and wall adapters, and portable chargers all for 25-30% off. So whether you need a dual-USB car charging adapter, my favorite nylon braided charging cables (USB-C and Lightning), or a backup battery, you can get them today at great prices. (Note: the $42 charger provides more power than the $24 model, but both can recharge a phone at least a few times on a single charge.)
- Get the Anker PowerCore Speed 20000 for $41.99 and save $14
- Get the Anker PoreCore 15600 for $23.99 and save $8
- Get the Anker Powerline+ USB-C 6-ft. Braided Cable for $9.79 and save $4.20
- Get the Anker Powerlne+ Lightning 6-ft. Braided Cable for $11.89 and save $5
- Get the Anker 4-Port USb Car Charger for $11.19 and save $5
- Get the Anker Quick Charge Dual USB Wall Charger for $17.98 and save $5
4. The best affordable meat thermometer at its lowest price ever
If you're sick of your chicken coming out dry or rubbery, or you just want to get the perfect medium rare on your steaks, a meat thermometer is key. You can know in an instant when your food is done cooking. No more guesswork, eyeballing, or cutting in to your otherwise beautiful dish to find out if it's still raw in the middle. This model from Habor is the best affordable meat thermometer we've ever tested, and right now it's only $9, about $4 off the regular price.
5. The best price ever on the best stand mixer ever
Amazon's Deal of the Day on this 7-quart KitchenAid Stand Mixer marks the lowest price we've ever seen for this model, making it a great opportunity to upgrade your kitchen. This is the larger version of the eternally popular 5-quart KitchenAid, which costs $50 less new. So why would you pay more for refurbished? Well, if you bake a lot (and in large quantities), something that can handle your habits with more ease might be advantageous.
6. Stop putting off your taxes—the best software is on sale
There's barely more than a month left to file your 2017 taxes. If you haven't gotten started on your return yet, you can still stay ahed of that looming deadline (and save a little extra on filing costs) with the help of this TurboTax software. It's been on sale since late December, and while this isn't the lowest price we've seen in that time, it's better than paying full price and the best offer you'll find, even compared to Intuit's own site.
