A suspect is still at large following a shooting in Turlock Friday evening, according to the Turlock Police Department.
At approximately 6:45 p.m., Turlock police say they responded to the 800 block of Columbia Avenue on a report of a male who’d been shot. Upon arrival, they found the 33-year-old victim who had sustained non-life threatening gunshot injuries.
The victim was transported to an area hospital and currently is in stable condition.
The Turlock Police Department says the suspect ran west from the scene still armed.
After searching the area, officers were able to recover a firearm, but it’s unknown if it was the weapon used in the incident.
The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous, police say. He is described as a tall, thin Hispanic male in his 30’s with light colored goatee, green eyes and dark clothing.
