Kings' Bogdanovic wins MVP in 2018 NBA Rising Stars Game

The World Team defeated the U.S. Team, 155-124, and a couple of Sacramento Kings guards stole the show.

The 2018 NBA All-Star Weekend is officially underway.

The main event of the Friday night festivities was the Mountain Dew Kickstart Rising Stars Game, which features the best and brightest young stars the game has to offer.

The World Team defeated the Team USA, 155-124, and a couple of Sacramento Kings guards stole the show.

Sacramento Kings rookie Bogdan Bogdanovic scored 26 points (9-16 FG, 7-13 3PT), four rebounds and six assists, on his way to earning the Most Valuable Player award.

His running mate Buddy Hield added in 29 points, which was second in scoring behind only Jaylen Brown poured in 35. The two Kings guards combined for 55 of the World Team's 155 points.

De'Aaron Fox played 16 minutes for Team USA and scored four points on six shot attempts. Fox played in this game after receiving stitches in his right eye during Wednesday's game against the Houston Rockets.
