Buddy Hield will be very active during All-Star weekend.

Not only was he selected as a World Team member in the Rising Stars game, but he'll also make an appearance during Saturday night's festivities.

The NBA announced on Monday, Feb. 5, that the Sacramento Kings shooting guard will be participating in the 2018 Taco Bell Skills Challenge.

The other Skills Challenge participants include last year's defending champion New York Knicks' Kristaps Porzingis, Joel Embiid (Philadelphia 76ers), Lou Williams (Los Angeles Clippers), Jamal Murray (Denver Nuggets), Al Horford (Boston Celtics), Lauri Markkanen (Chicago Bulls), and Spencer Dinwiddie of the Brooklyn Nets.

In his second NBA season, Hield is averaging 12.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and nearly two assists on 44-percent shooting from the field, and 43-percent from three.

Hield now joins a long line of former Kings who have been selected to All-Star Saturday night, including two-time Three-Point Contest champion Peja Stojakovic, and Slam Dunk contest participants Gerald Wallace and Kenny 'The Jet' Smith.
