Stars often get special treatment. But this time, they weren't supposed to.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West arrived from Brazil at JFK Airport in New York on Tuesday morning on their way to Los Angeles, when a starstruck American Airlines staffer helped the couple bypass a security checkpoint.
Big no-no. Even for a pregnant reality star and her musician sweetheart.
"This was a lapse in judgment by one of our employees. We're working closely with the Transportation Security Administration and speaking to the individuals involved to better understand what happened," American Airlines told E! News in a statement.
TSA spokeswoman Lisa Farbstein confirmed to AP that an airline employee escorted Kimye through a "non-public area in order to provide expedited access to their domestic flight."
That expedited access turned into a 50-minute delay for everyone on board.
