Third-party video games hardware company Innex will be releasing its Super Retro Trio video game console, which plays original NES, SNES, and Genesis game cartridges, in mid-to-late March.
Originally to be released late last year, manufacturer Retro-bit delayed the product's launch after finding some controller mapping concerns on the first few samples received by distributor Innex. Since then, various batches of samples were tested thoroughly until the controller mapping test results were satisfactory for both companies.
"We stand behind our products. There is no room for less than the highest level of satisfaction," states Innex President, Titi Ngoy. "Retro-bit is one of the elite brands that Innex distributes worldwide and this collaboration with the manufacturer will ensure a successful launch of this outstanding console."
The Super Retro Trio, which retails for $70, is equipped with three cartridge slots, six controller ports (compatible with original or third-party controllers), two 16-bit-style game controllers, an AC adapter, and one S-video/AV cable.
