How you can help children in our area

With a few clicks or one phone call, you will be able to help children in need of medical care in our area.

News10 and the Children's Miracle Network are teaming up to host the 20-hour Give for Kids Telethon (#Give4Kids) on Friday to help raise money for UC Davis Children's Hospital.

From 5 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. you can give directly to the Children's Hospital and help fund new medical equipment, treatments, healthcare services and more. Every dollar you donate goes to patient care.

How to donate

You can call 1-877-719-KIDS (5437) to donate using all forms of payment, including cash through a pledge.

Or go to to donate online.

Where does your money go

The money you donate goes into a Children's Miracle Network fund for the Children's Hospital. When a department or program within the hospital needs funding for new equipment, treatment or patient care, it applies for a grant from the CMN. Once approved, that money is used to pay for what it was requested for, nothing else.

The grant process ensures your donation is used to help children heal and go home healthy as soon as possible. It's also the cornerstone of CMN -- money given by our community stays in our community.
