Tips to de-stress and unwind after work

More Americans are stressed out at work because of heavier workloads and low pay, according to the 2013 Work Stress Survey. The study shows that 83 percent of people are stressed out about something at work.

We asked News10 Facebook Fans how they de-stress and unwind after a long day at work. Here are some of the tips they gave:

Exercise - Going to the gym or working out at home helps relieve stress and releases endorphins, a chemical that make people feel happy.

Get a Hobby - Hobbies allow people to focus on something other than work. People can create or do something that fulfills them and not their company.

Drinking - Several News10 Facebook fans said alcohol helps them unwind after work. From Happy Hour to drinking beer at home, helps them take the edge off.

Massage - Getting a massage will relieve tension in your body and your mind

Drive home - Several Facebook Fans said they take advantage of their drive home to unwind. Whether it's a quiet drive or singing with the radio at the top of your lungs, fans said the drive home helps them unwind after their work day.
