A 59-year-old man was found dead in front of a home, sparking a homicide investigation in South Turlock.
Stanislaus County sheriff’s deputies were sent to the I Street home just after 9:15 p.m. Saturday, following reports of the discovery.
When deputies arrived, they found the man in the front yard of the home, with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the upper body, deputies said.
The man was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies have not yet released information regarding a suspect.
