Juvenile arrested in double homicide at Sacramento apartment complex

A juvenile male was arrested in connection to a double homicide at Sacramento apartment complex.

The suspect was booked into the Sacramento County Youth Detention Facility, Sacramento County Sheriff's Sgt. Lisa Bowman said. No other information about the arrest was available at the time this story was posted. The sheriff's department did not release the suspect's identity.

A man and a woman were found shot inside a car at the Northwood Apartments on Howe Avenue and Cottage Way in Sacramento on Thursday morning. The man was pronounced dead at the scene; the woman was taken to a nearby hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

Bowman said shooting is still under investigation. A motive behind the shooting has not been determined yet.
