Man shot while driving in Stockton dies

A man shot while driving in a commercial area of north Stockton died Friday night.

Stockton police arrived at the intersection of March Lane and West Lane around 7:09 p.m. after getting reports of a vehicle crash.

At the crash scene, officers found a man in his 20s suffering from a gunshot wound. Police said the man crashed into several vehicles after being shot. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died. No other information about the victim was released.

A dark blue Chevy Silverado pick-up truck is considered a vehicle of interest. No other suspect information was available.
