Vehicle stop leads to DUI, burglary arrests in Davis

SACRAMENTO – Davis police officers were called to a complex on the 2400 block of Moore Boulevard around 2:25 a.m. Monday in response to two "suspicious" individuals looking into vehicles.

Arriving officers saw a vehicle leaving the complex and stopped the driver. During the stop, officers determined the driver, Kyle Duncan, 22, of Dixon, had been driving under the influence of alcohol. Duncan was arrested and his vehicle searched, according to a report from the Davis Police Department.

During the inspection, officers found property taken from a vehicle burglary on the same block as the 911 call where Duncan's car had been seen leaving, the report detailed.

Duncan was arrested on suspicion of burglary, conspiracy, possessing stolen property and DUI. His passenger, Christopher Bowers, 19, of Dixon, was arrested for burglary, conspiracy and possessing stolen property, police said. Both were booked into Yolo County Jail.
