The friends of a woman from Sacramento's Pocket neighborhood who went missing in South Lake Tahoe are searching for answers in the woman's disappearance.

On April 3, Pamela Suwinksy was reported missing to the South Lake Tahoe Police Department by her long-time friend and ex-husband.

A friend of the woman for more than six years, Jeffrey Scott tells ABC 10 News the woman would not have taken off without telling someone.

Her ex-husband told police the woman had left the Motel 6 where they had been staying between 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.. and never returned.

Suwinsky left her cell phone, purse, and dog. However, she did bring with her an ID and credit cards.

Friends are planning to meet at the South Lake Tahoe Police Department at noon on Sunday, with weather permitting, to conduct a search of the area for their friend.
