Man shot to death in Sacramento home-invasion robbery

SACRAMENTO – A man was killed and two men are sought as suspects in a home-invasion shooting on Little Oak Lane in Sacramento Tuesday night.

Sacramento County sheriff's spokesperson Lisa Bowman said deputies were called to the 4900 block of Little Oak Ln. around 10:30 p.m. Upon arrival, deputies were directed to an apartment where a 30-year-old man had been fatally shot.

Witnesses told deputies two men had forced their way into the apartment, confronted the man, shot him and then taken undisclosed items from the residence before fleeing.

Both suspects were described as black men within the age range of 25 to 40 years old. One of the men was described as possibly light skinned.

Sheriff's Homicide Detectives are currently seeking information on the identity of the individuals involved.
