At-risk man from south Sacramento found safe

Sacramento County sheriff's officials are reporting for a missing South Sacramento man has a happy ending.

Daniel Chi was located by family Monday, returning him home safe and sound, sheriff's officials said.

Chi, 34, of south Sacramento, went missing from his home around 5 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21. He was last seen by family. He was reported missing by family Sunday afternoon. Chi is considered at-risk because of a diminished mental capacity and family said he has never gone missing before.

Chi is as an Asian male with brown hair and brown eyes, 5 feet tall, around 90 pounds, and was last seen a wearing a blue long sleeve button up shirt, black pants, and black shoes. He may also be carrying a blue backpack. Chi does not drive. He usually walks or takes public transit to get around. He is known to frequent West Sacramento.
