Fire near Yosemite National Park prompts evacuations

A 400-acre fire burning outside of Yosemite National Park has prompted evacuations for the community in Foresta, according to Mariposa County Sheriff's Office.

The fire is burning in Merced Canyon, near El Portal, according to ABC30/KFSN.

The fire has also closed Forest Road at Highway 40 and Big Oak Flat Road between Crane Flat and Highway 140.
