Police: Woodland woman calls cops after shooting husband

SACRAMENTO - The Woodland Police Department received a 911 call Sunday night from a woman who said she had shot her husband.

Susan Hoskins, 59, was standing on her front porch at 607 Knollwood Drive, when police arrived and took her into custody.

Officers called in emergency response units to treat the victim, but the man died of his injuries at the scene.

Hoskins was booked into Yolo County Jail for domestic violence.
