Report: Missing central Calif. girl found in field

SACRAMENTO – A toddler reported missing in Huron Sunday night was found Monday morning.

According to KFSN-TV in Fresno, authorities said 3-year-old Tanya Ruiz was found running in a field near the area where she disappeared. She was then reunited with her mother and taken by paramedics to be examined.

Tanya was reported missing from the Huron area at approximately 7:45 p.m. Sunday. California Highway Patrol reports stated she was abducted by a Hispanic man described as being approximately 30 years old with long hair. He was last seen wearing a red shirt and red hat.

The report said authorities are searching the field for the man.
