Sacramento police seeking man suspected in sex assault

SACRAMENTO – Police are seeking the public's help locating a man suspected of sexually assaulting a woman near a Sacramento roadway in March.

A release from the Sacramento Police Department stated a woman was walking on Bicentennial Circle towards Folsom Boulevard around 11 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, when she was approached by a man. The man then reportedly grabbed her and forced her off the roadway where he sexually assaulted her.

The man was described as white, in his 20s to 30s with "stylishly messy" dark hair. He also has unique tattoos on his forearms (pictured).

The Sacramento Police Department urges anyone with information pertaining to this crime to contact the dispatch center at (916) 264-5471 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP (4357) or text in a tip to 274637 (CRIMES). Enter SACTIP followed by the tip information. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
