Elk Grove Police looking for 'hate' vandalism suspects

The Elk Grove Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying two suspects for recently vandalizing an apartment complex.

At approximately 1:40 a.m. on Nov. 2, two individuals were involved in spray painting hate-related graffiti on several buildings at Emerald Garden Apartments, according to Elk Grove Police.

Officers responded to the incident later that morning and took photos of the graffiti. The paint was covered up later that day. Detectives believe the suspects are also directly involved with at least two other graffiti cases in the same location.

Anyone with information regarding these cases is asked to call the Elk Grove Police Department Communications Center at (916) 714-5115 or Crime Stoppers at (916) 443-HELP (4357). Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.

Tips can also be sent via text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on a cell phone, followed by Tip732 and the message.
