The Environmental Protection Agency has shut down public access to a mobile home park in Santa Rosa after a dangerous amount of asbestos was discovered in tests following the devastating fires in the area.
Journey's End Mobile Home Park, located off Mendocino Avenue at Fountain Grove Parkway, once held 160 units prior to the wildfires. Just 20 remain.
Residents will not be able to return to the property to search for belongings spared by the fire until the EPA announces the area safe to enter.
