Two bodies were found at Folsom Lake Saturday afternoon.
California State Parks spokesperson Vicky Waters said the first body was found around 12:50 p.m. by a person visiting the lake. The body was located off the tip of the peninsula, on the South Fork side of the lake.
After El Dorado County sheriff's deputies and State Parks employees responded to the scene, they spotted the second body in the same area. The identities will be released by El Dorado County Coroner's Office, Waters said.
Last week, four men were reported missing when the speed boat they were on capsized in the middle of the lake, near Brown's Ravine.
A body was found in Folsom Lake Friday morning and identified as 47-year-old James Andrew Strauch, one of the men who has been missing since the boat accident.
Toby Strauch, 54; Jake Jacobs, 53; and Jon Smith, 47, have not been found.
Since the boating accident, search crews were in the area on jet skis and boats, while dive teams searched under water. On Thursday, several agencies announced they will be scaling back their recovery efforts.
The speed boat, which is 35 to 40 feet long, was recovered by search crews the day of the accident.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
